「AI與外語學習」講座課程之實踐成果──為了培育AI時代所需跨域升級技能──（Results of 'AI and Foreign Language Learning' course-To cultivate the cross-domain upgrading skills required in the AI era）

「AIと外国語学習」講座での実践成果―AI時代に求められる学際的スキルアップを目指して―

和新冠肺炎病毒共存時代逐漸成為常態之際，與高等教育關係密切的先進科技(Technology) 當中， 常被提及的有AI（ArtificialIntelligence、人工智慧）與DX （Digital transformation、數位轉型）。當前瞻時代風潮，察覺有必要在一般外語專攻學習外語基礎5 項技能之上，新增培育「AI 思維」、「AI 技術應用」，才能強化就業競爭力。於是109 學年度首次開設了「AI 與外語学習」（2學分、一學期、講座課程）。而第二年110 學年度開設時，特別著重培育AI 時代所需跨域升級技能之教育目標，新增了APP 制作發表為評定成績的1 個項目。本論文即為「AI 與外語學習」講座課程之實踐成果報告。透過「根據PED 檢視學生的學習成效」、「根據學期成績檢視學生的學習效果」、「根據APP 製作和發表成果檢視學習效果」、「以AI 技術解析學生期末報告」等4 項指標來檢核「AI 與外語學習」課程之學生學習成效。結果證明確實已達到設定之教學目標。而新增製作APP發表選項，獲益匪淺。於是就培育學生AI 時代所需跨域升級技能之跨域能力而言，算是明智之舉。雖此，仍有4 個未完課題可供今後參考。亦即是授課程大綱的調整、增加修課學生全員參加製作APP 發表之強烈動機、放寬製作APP內容可以不限於語言類、教師扮之腳色反思。若此，本講座課程將可以發揮讓修課學生培育AI 時代所需跨域升級技能。

ウィズ(with)コロナ時代が常態化されつつある中、高等教育と関連のある科学技術(Technology)においては、AI(Artificial Intelligence、人工知能)とDX (Digital transformation、デジタルトランスフォーメーション)の促進が提起されている。こういった時代潮流を先取り、外国語学習の基礎とされたた5 技能に「AI 的思考力」、「AI 技術の応用力」を付け加えようとするため、109 学年度に「AI と外国語学習」(2 単位、一学期、講座授業)を開設した。2 回目の110 学年度の開設では、AI 時代に求められる学際的スキルアップを目指すという教育目標のもと、APP 制作発表を成績評定の1 項目に新たに設けた。本論文は、その実践報告である。「APP 制作と発表成果より判明した学習効果」に焦点を当てた本論文では、「PED により判明した履修生の学習効果」、「学期成績により判明した履修生の学習効果」、「APP 制作と発表成果より判明した学習効果」、「期末レポートをAI 技術による解析」の4 点から履修生の学習効果を検証してみた。その結果、教育目標を達成したと言えよう。特に今回増やしたAPP 制作の評定を通して得た収穫が大きいため、AI 時代に求められる学際的スキルアップを目指す教育目標の設定が賢明だ認められよう。とはいえ、今後の課題も4 点ほど残されている。それは、授業のシラバスの調整、全員履修生がAPP 制作発表に参加する動機づけ支援、APP 制作の内容を語学に限らず自由化させる、教師の役割の見直しである。今後の課題とした4 点を施行すれば、本講座の持つ学際的インパクトをより発揮することができるからである。
As the era of coexistence with covid-19 is gradually becoming the norm, among the advanced technologies that are closely related to higher education, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and DX (Digital transformation) are often mentioned. In order to strengthen our competitiveness in the workplace, we have seen the need to add 'AI thinking' and 'AI technology application' to the five basic foreign language skills that we have learned in the general foreign language program. Therefore, in the 109th year, we offered 'AI and Foreign Language Study' for the first time (a 2-credit, one-semester, seminar course). In the second year, in the 110th semester, the aim of education is to cultivate the cross-disciplinary skills required in the AI era, and an app production is added as a new item for assessment. This paper is a report of the results of the 'AI and Foreign Language Learning' seminar course. The effectiveness of student learning in the 'AI and Foreign Language Learning' course was examined through four indicators: 'Review of student learning effectiveness based on PEDs,' 'Review of student learning effectiveness based on semester grades,' 'Review of learning effectiveness based on app creation and publishing results,' and 'Analysis of student final reports using AI technology. The results proved that the teaching objectives were achieved. The new option of creating an app for publication was very beneficial. This is a smart move in terms of developing cross-domain skills that students need to upgrade across domains in the AI era. However, there are still 4 unfinished topics for future reference. These are: adjusting the syllabus of the course, increasing the motivation of all students to participate in the production of the app, relaxing the content of the app to be limited to languages, and reflecting on the role of the teacher. In this way, this seminar course will enable students to develop the cross-disciplinary skills needed in the AI era.
