"In recent years, in the field of technology development and application, open source software and standardized technology are often used in combination. Therefore, the international community has begun to pay close attention to how to establish a cooperative relationship between the two parties to avoid conflicts in the application process. For example, when open source software and standard essential patents need to be applied to the same technology or project at the same time, it is necessary to ensure the legal compatibility of open source licenses with FRAND licensing of SEP. In the case of Taiwan, it is possible to strengthen the open source software community and standardized technology implementers to understand each other's needs and resources, and avoid the use of terms that are incompatible with the other party's license conditions. In addition, it can be referred to the OPNFV's operating mode to establish a platform for information sharing and exchange between the two parties. On the other hand, in view of the possible incompatibility of licensing terms, the government can provide guidelines on licensing conditions, reminding parties that they should pay attention to the licensing conditions of standard essential patents and whether they are the type of royalty-free patent." |
