"We analyzed our quarantine inspection records of imported flowering plants and their products through C.K.S. International Airport collected from January 2001 to December 2002. The result shows that we totally intercepted and detected 37 different kinds of plant pathogens and pests in all inspected cases during the period of time. There were 9 species of pests which had not previously been listed in publications of Taiwan, including Rhizoglyphus echinopus, Frankliniella occidentallis, Aptinothrips apteris, Aeolothrips faurei, Glaucothrips glaucus, Thrips fuscipennis, T. atratus, T. meridionalis, and T. imagines.." |
