高雄市菩提扁粉蝨發生之初探

A preliminary study on the occurrence of Pealius spina in Kaohsiung city

於1997年冬季與1998年夏季在高雄市栽植菩提樹之九條道路針對菩提扁粉蝨之感染情形進行初步調查，結果夏季感染較嚴重，為害級數為1.2至2.95，平均2.2，冬季感染較輕，為害級數為0.85至2.7，平均1.5，初步分析粉蝨感染程度差異與植株大小及採樣點周圍植物相之種類與數量有關。

"The scores of infested index of Pealius spina (Singh) on lime tree (Ficus religiosa Singh) in Kaohisung city ranged from 0.85 to 2.7, averaging 1.5, and from 1.2 to 2.95, averaging 2.2, in December 1997 and August 1998, respectively. The lime trees were significantly more seriously infested by P. spina in summer than in winter. The difference of infestation degree was closely related to the size of lime tree and surrounding vegetation."
