本文從工具理論切入，耙梳人類與機器的關係，再經由人工智慧演進的歷程、人機傳播發展的概念，思考人工智慧進程對於人機傳播所代表的意義，包括人工智慧演進對於傳播概念的擴充、人機傳播關係中倫理層次的弔詭。本文目的在於藉由這些人工智慧進程的思考，省察人機傳播的本質，與其意義產製的可能方向。
