"The absence of adequate chemical safety hazard information, improper storage or delivery conditions, inadequate training of personnel or lack of awareness of hazards may cause major accidents. It suggested that the relevant professional training in chemical safety management should strengthened to avoid the improper use, misuse or other hazard accidents caused by incomplete information or insufficient professional training. Virtual reality (VR) technology provides a unique sense of experience and has used by more and more institutions as an educational training and simulation practice model. This study has completed 11 training units, which can be as general occupational safety and health training and on-the-job occupational safety and health training.This work is to develop chemical education and training tools on the themes of chemical operations and establish a network virtual reality education and training platform to integrate all tools. According to user feedback, more than 95 percent of users believe that the content of this chemical education and training tools can enhance the concept of chemical safety management, the module exercises have appropriate guidance on the correct mode of operation and virtual reality training materials will be more than traditional education training to arouse interest in learning. Participants think that the difficulty of training tools are moderate, interactive good or easy to understand and other positive affirmation, showing that this set of virtual reality chemical education and training tools are quite suitable as entry-level hazardous chemicals and chemical-related operational hazard prevention." |
