英文摘要 |
Frequency has been found to be correlated significantly with many aspects of language use and acquisition, and high-frequency multi-word expressions are referred to as lexical bundles. While there have been many corpus-based studies on the use of lexical bundles in English, few studies have been conducted to identify lexical bundles in Chinese. Therefore, this study sets out to identify lexical bundles in Chinese conversation and news and categorize them according to their structure and function. The results provide cross-linguistic support for important tendencies observed in English data, and distributional differences can be attributed to language-specific properties. Additionally, a comparative analysis of lexical bundles in Chinese conversation and news reveals important communicative needs in different genres. Finally, pedagogical implications are discussed. |
