早期《西遊記》初探

本文的討論主題，是根據中外古典文獻中提及小說《西遊記》及他們與世德堂版本內容關係，來證明這早期《西遊記》與百回本《西遊記》的關係，其架構不是為了佛教著名唐玄奘到印度取經的文學創作，而是體驗過佛教僧侶舉辦「水陸法會」祭典活動，而創作出來的。根據《西遊記》的世德堂版的內容，可以發現，還有更早的幾個版本，這就是本文討論的重點。因此，可以發現，更早的版本，不但影響世德堂版的《西遊記》內容，也證明是和佛教「水陸法會」祭典活動等的瑜珈僧有關。
