印順法師與妙雲蘭若

Master Yin Shun and Miaoyun Temple

印順法師（1906－2005）自1952年9月3日由香港到臺灣，迄2005年6月4日圓寂，總計在臺灣生活了大約57年。他在臺灣住錫的這段期間，曾創建了福嚴精舍、慧日講堂、妙雲蘭若、華雨精舍四個道場，妙雲蘭若的創建是他在來臺12年後，為了深入法義，為自己建立的閉關處。本文想要探討的是：印順法師為何要在嘉義創建妙雲蘭若？他在妙雲蘭若做了那些具有佛教學術意義的工作？在印順法師離開妙雲蘭若之後，妙雲蘭若的弘法工作如何持續進行？慧理與常光兩位法師如何擴建妙雲蘭若？本文從：印順法師在臺灣創建的道場、嘉義妙雲蘭若的建築與閉關、在妙雲蘭若的研究與整編《妙雲集》、慧理法師與常光兩位法師掌理妙雲蘭若等方面進行說明。文末再由：妙雲蘭若掩關對印順法師在研究佛教上的重要地位、《妙雲集》的特色及其時代意義、妙雲蘭若的未來發展值得我們持續關注等三方面做了簡要論述，以呈顯本研究之旨趣。

Master Yin Shun from Hong Kong to Taiwan on September 3, 1952, and died on June 4, 2005. He lived in Taiwan for about 57 years. During his stay in Taiwan, he created the four temples of FuYan JingShe, HuiRi Lecture Hall, Miaoyun Temple, and FaYu JingShe. The creation of Miaoyun Temple was 12 years after he came to Taiwan. What this article wants to explore is: Why did the Yinshun Master create Miaoyun Temple in Chiayi? Did he do any work with Buddhist academic significance in Miaoyun Temple? After Master Yin Shun left Miaoyun Temple, how does the work of Miaoyun Temple’s work continue? How can the two masters Hui Li and Chang Guang expand Miaoyun Temple?
