閱讀金關丈夫〈船中的殺人〉──文本之結構分析為中心（Reading Murder on a Ship Written by Kanaseki Takeo: With the Focus on the Structural Analysis of Its Text）

金関丈夫「船中の殺人」を読む──作品構造の分析を中心として

日治臺灣時期，金關丈夫與池田敏雄等人於1941年7月共同創立《民俗臺灣》致力於蒐集紀錄臺灣傳統文化。金關於調查研究臺灣文化的同時，以筆名林熊生陸續發表諸多偵探小說。〈船中的殺人〉是金關首次發表的偵探小說，此作品最初於1941年在《臺灣警察時報》開始連載，爾後於1943年發行單行本。有別於金關在偵探小說中幾乎皆是以日治時期本島人市街萬華為舞台，〈船中的殺人〉的舞台設定並非殖民地台灣，而是航行在帝國〈邊緣〉台灣與帝國〈中心〉日本之間的客船次高丸。本論文透過分析〈船中的殺人〉文本結構以考察了此作品所具有之時代意義。
During the Japanese colonial period in Taiwan, Kanaseki Takeo and Ikeda Toshio et al. together founded Folk Culture of Taiwan in July, 1941, and they endeavored to collect and record Taiwanese traditional culture. While investigating and researching Taiwanese culture, Kanaseki consecutively published many works of detective fiction using the pen name called Lin Yusei. Murder on a Ship was the first detective fiction work published by Kanaseki. The serial publication of this work first started on Taiwan Police Times in 1941, and the standalone book of it was published in 1943. The stage set in almost all Kanasekis detective fiction works was Wanhua, the ''streets of hontoujin'' in Taiwan under Japanese rule. However, the stage of Murder on a Ship was quite different from the other of his works, which was not in colonial Taiwan but on a passenger ship ''Tsugitakamaru'' sailing in between Taiwan and Japan, the ''border'' and the ''center'' of the Empire of Japan. In this study, the text structure of Murder on a Ship was analyzed for the investigation of the historical significance contained in the work.

1941年7月、日本統治時代の台湾において金関丈夫は池田敏雄らとともに『民俗臺灣』の創刊にかかわり、台湾の伝統文化の収集‧記録に尽力した。金関は調査‧研究活動の傍ら、林熊生名義で探偵小説を発表している。金関が発表した初めての探偵小説は「船中の殺人」（1941）である。当作品は最初『台湾警察時報』に発表され、1943年には単行本として出版された。金関はほとんどの探偵小説において、本島人の町である萬華を舞台として作品を描いた。一方で、金関が初めて発表した「船中の殺人」では、その事件が起こる物語空間として、植民地台湾ではなく、帝国の〈周縁〉台湾と帝国の〈中心〉日本の間、海上を行く次高丸の船上がその舞台として選ばれている。当論文では「船中の殺人」の構造分析を通して、当作品が持つ意味について考察を行う。
