文物展示照明影響觀眾的視覺效果。如何在視覺效果、文物保存與節約能源之間取得平衡，是博物館展示設計重要的一環。近年來發光二極體燈是目前極力發展的綠能產業，逐漸取代傳統人工光源。又因為它無紫外線、不發熱、低耗電、使用壽命長等優點，被視為博物館展示照明的明日之星。本文謹以文物保存的觀點，探討此種光源應用於文物展示照明的可行性。

LED lamps, which substitute traditional artificial light sources, are within the green energy industries that have been vigorously developed and promoted in recent years.
