Applied Japanese Department of Ming Chuan University has already founded for more than ten years. During these ten years, more than 20 departments of Japanese have been set up in more applied-oriented way. Due to the differences between traditional curriculum and applied-oriented curriculum, it is challenge to design new curriculum and all of them are on trial. Therefore, when putting new curriculum into practice, it's crucial to keep the record of problems and experience.The researcher is the curriculum designer for Applied Japanese Department in Ming Chuan University at the very beginning when the department has been set up. The researcher believes that by using an introspective manner to observe curriculum during these ten years, the wisdom for designing curriculum can be collected. Moreover, the wisdom can be a further reference for other schools and an orientation on identification.In this diverse society, various curricula may meet the needs. However, the keys for making curricula successful are professional skills and passion of teachers. |
