三零年代台灣文學中的「東京」形象──以台灣作家作品為主

The Images of Taiwanese Literature during the 1930's: Centrals on the Texts of the Taiwanese Authors

在日本統治時期的台灣作家作品裡，「東京」佔著相當重要的角色。在「東京」這個空間裡，主角的留學生們為著身分認同、戀愛以及傳統牽絆等問題而煩惱。作家們對於這樣由外地向內地移動時所伴隨產生的心裡衝擊描寫，剛好為當時的台灣知識份子如何理解近代化這個過程做了說明。本文是以三零年代的作品為主，並將二零年代的作品列入視野來探討其間的「東京」形象。在二零年代的作品裡，「東京」除了是文明以及自由的象徵之外，也是個讓人有距離感的空間。但到了三零年代，「東京」卻轉變為讓人感到親切的近代空間。對於東京所擁有的近代性，台灣青年們既是感激又是滿足。另一方面，在三零年代的作品裡，「東京」被當成象徵日本女性的一個符號，是留學生們所嚮往的對象。藉由「戀愛」這個課題，表現出游移在「東京」以及「台灣」兩個符號間的台灣留學生的身分認同焦慮。此外，在社會主義的影響之下，三零年代「東京」也是個讓人感受到民族及階級差別的空間。具體來說，這些問題通常透過留學生們在高等文官考試以及戀愛上遇到的挫折來表現。最後，透過楊逵的作品也略微窺知台灣留學生們所嚮往的「東京」繁華，其實是建立在壓榨勞工之下所成立的。

In texts which are written by the Taiwanese authors during the Colony period ruled by Japan, 'Tokyo' plays a very important role during that time. In the space of 'Tokyo', most of the leading actors were suffered by the problems of their identification, love, and the traditional taboo of China, etc. The present about how the Taiwanese regard 'Tokyo' as the process of how the Taiwanese experienced the modernization. This study is mainly on the texts of the 1930's Taiwanese literature and also has a view about the texts of the 1920's, which is to find out the 'Tokyo' images in those books.
