Along with the advance of technology, the proportion and frequency of teenagers surfing the Internet are increasing, from which cyberbullying is derived. With questionnaire survey, 531 G7-G9 students are studied to understand junior high school students' cyberbullying behaviors and the factors. The research results show that about 1/3 (32.58%) of junior high school students have the experience in bullying others on the Internet. Regression Analysis results also reveal significant correlations between negative emotion and junior high school students' cyberbullying behaviors. Failure in academic performance, surfing the Internet for more than 4 hours, and interpersonal relationship in individual variables, teachers' authoritarian and bad class climate in environmental variable, as well as negative emotions of anger and jealousy would increase the frequency of junior high school students' cyberbullying. According to the research results, various suggestions are proposed in this study, as the reference for junior high schools preventing cyberbullying. |
