Classroom management is fundamental for smooth teaching and an essential index of professional competence for a teacher. This article introduces theories of ''classroom management'' from three aspects - emphasis on the establishment of norms, informal communication networks, and the employment of cultural rituals. The author takes personal experiences and literary researched situations as examples to demonstrate. the application of theories in various classroom environments. It is concluded that classroom management is one crucial factor to facilitate learning. |
