It is not easy to find a suitable environment to learn Chinese overseas. Literacy is only a small part, whether for students, parents or teachers. It is more appreciated to learn from a cultural perspective and it is impossible that Chinese teachers carry all the physical scenes culturally related to the eyes of students who are abroad. However, after the coming globalization and technology, the emergence of digital tools has provided a variety of pedagogical ideas for overseas Chinese teachers.Recently, the technology of visual reality and mobile devices has presented its brilliant function in various fields. The author tries to integrate traditional cultural activities into the materials of the Chinese language teaching plan through the mobile devices and visual reality platform- Roundme. There is an example, the lifestyle of the indigenous of the sixteen Taiwanese villages has been presented through the mobile devices in a public exhibition - New Zealand Taiwan Day: Chinese Character Cultural Festival in 2017 and 2018. The result of visual reality stands out when the author presents traditional indigenous houses and buildings with a patio. Through this experience, Chinese overseas students and Chinese language learners can increase their interest in Chinese culture or Taiwanese culture and learn from their own experiences.
