Aesthetic experience is one of the tourist experiential value scales. However, there is limited research on the aesthetic experience of tourists. The purpose of this study is to explore the aesthetic experience sources of tourists. In-depth interviews with 30 respondents were conducted. Through content analysis, the author extracted three aesthetic experience source dimensions. The tourism resource dimension included“artificial resources”and“natural resources”. The social environment dimension involved“people”and“activity”. The tourism economy dimension contained“access”,“food and drink”,“accommodation”, and“shopping”services. The findings have key managerial implications for personal interpretation strategies and exploring the development of tourism resources. Practical implications and future research directions are also proposed. |
