Hepatoid carcinoma of the ovary: case report and literature review

類肝細胞癌是一具有肝細胞特徵但病灶位於肝外的腫瘤，最常見於腸胃道。此個案乃一發生於卵巢的類肝細胞癌（以下稱卵巢類肝細胞癌），是一罕見，具侵略性的卵巢腫瘤。起初於西元1987年由Ishikura和Scully兩位學者所發表。截至目前約有30多例個案報告，其中只有少數為AFP染色呈陰性。此病例正是少數AFP染色呈陰性的例子，文中將闡述該疾病的表徵、病理型態、免疫染色、鑑別診斷、治療和預後。

Heparoid carcinoma is a carcinoma with hepatoid features that occurs in organs other than the liver, mostly arises from the gastrointestinal tract. This is a case of hepatoid carcinoma arising from the ovary. It's a rare and aggressive subtype of ovarian cancer, first reported by Ishikura and Scully, in 1987. So far, there have been reported more than 30 cases, but few of which have negative Alpha-fetoprotein (APF)-staining. The case we present is one of the AFP-staining examples. We will further describe the clinical, histopathologic, differential diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of the disease.
