運用Watson理論於一位卵巢癌手術個案之護理經驗

本篇是在描述一位首次被診斷卵巢癌第三期之個案，筆者於2007年2月26日至3月17日個案住院期間，藉由觀察、會談與實際照顧個案，運用Watson關懷理論於護理過程中，進行整體性護理評估，健康問題之收集，歸納出個案因手術引發之痛苦及成為被照顧之對象焦慮、術後傷口疼痛、害怕死亡等護理問題，藉著傾聽，鼓勵表達其內心感受，介紹鄰床成功個案，增強信心與希望，協助家人參與治療計劃，減輕個案心中不安；最後給予正向鼓勵，認可及肯定個案存在的價值，並在後續的計畫中提供化療的知識與衛教，協助個案在治療過程與執行化療階段，身、心、社會、靈性層面皆能獲得穩定。

The patient was diagnosed with ovarian cancer of phase three during hospitalization. Data were collected by observation, discussion and direct personal nursing care. In this paper, we applied Watson's caring to assess three health problems, including: 1. anxiety caused surgery and aftercare, 2.pain for surgical lesion, 3. fear of death. We provided individual protective nursing to reduce the psychological effects of anxiety, and pain, spiritual problem related to fear of death. The care attempts to maintain a constant level of physiological, psychological, social, and spiritual care in the treatment process.
