An Introduction to Clearing Techniques by Chemical Corps under Biological Warfare

SARS曾經大規模流行，並且有可能本土化而於秋季捲土重來。今年初疫情雖在國軍官兵與民間機構的共同協助下圓滿結束，但為了因應將來可能發生的未知狀況，建立一套完善的消毒機制定必要的，我們二三化兵群全程參與了這次消毒任務，有責任與義務為國人日後的消毒作業提供難得的經驗，本文即對國軍制式的消除裝備與藥劑，以及民間常見的消毒劑做一簡單且清楚的描述。此報導對化學兵進行消除作業時所運用的裝備及藥劑做了初步的介紹，並且以實際經驗為依據，對國軍制式消除作業與民間消毒作業提供可靠的建議與原則。最後，還需提醒的是，事先的預防優於搶救與處理。

The SARS virus infected most of northern Taiwan, and might be back this fall because of localization. The epidemic situation of SARS had been brought to a successful close by the army and civil organizations of the beginning of this year, however, it is necessary to set up a plan of overall sterilization to handle the unknown situation. Because we have participated in the disinfection mission wholly, it is our duty to bring experiences. In this article both uniform and civil equipment and disinfectants have been described clearly. We report preliminary instructions on use of equipment and disinfectants by the army during the task, and providing trust worthy suggestions and principles of uniform and civil disinfection jobs which rely on practical experience. Finally, It is necessary to remind all that prevention is more important than rescue.
