數位博物館的建置在數位學習上的應用：以奇美博物館為例

The Development of Digital Museum for supporting E-learning: A Case of Chi-Met Museum

傳統的實體博物館為重要的知識傳遞之場所。藉由網路及視訊技術發展之助，數位博物館，得以延伸博物館教育的功能，並擴大其在教育上的的影響力。本研究以奇美博物館為例，建置一輔助國小學童學習之數位博物館網站，目的為藉由博物館館藏數位化內容，包含文字，遊戲與動畫等，將數位學習的特性應用在數位博物館網站之教育與知識傳遞，並探討數位化學習，相較於傳統的靜態圖文學習方式對於知識的傳遞是否有所助益？數位博物館網站系統、數位遊戲開發實作和實驗之結果顯示可大幅提升學童的學習績效。最後，本研究也提出未來建置數位博物館於發揮教育功能上之建議。

Museum is an important place where visitors absorb knowledge. With the advents of Internet and video technologies, the development of digital museum becomes a phenomenon that extends experiences of museum visits. It impacts largely on education. This article presents the development of an educational web site and online games with regard to digital museum for assisting learning amongst elementary students based on the collections of Chi-Mei Museum in Taiwan. It aims at investigating learning effectiveness between learning from static text to animated and digitalized contents of digital museum. The experimental results indicate that the learning outcomes are greatly improved after students visit the web pages of digital museum even not personally visit Chi-Mei Museum. In the end of the article, suggestions for future research are discussed.
