With the support of Shiau Hou, Chiao Shan, and Foun Kuay, Liu Bang rose to revolt Ch'in Empire in September of the first year of Ch'in Emperor the second ( 209 B.C.) and occupied Pei-Shen City soon. In October, Lin Bang's troops began to expand its power to occupy the north of Chian Sue Province and several places in the south of Shan-Don Province. In June of the second year of Ch'in Emperor the second ( 208 B.C.) , Lin Bang submitted to Shiang Liang, and Shiang Liang allotted five thousand warriors to him. The military power of Lin Bang's troops increased immediately. The reasons that Lin Bang's troops could overthrow Ch'in Empire are listed as follows : 1. That Shiang Yu exterminated the main troop of the Ch'in army paved a great venue of Lin Bang's success in revolt. 2. Shiao Hou, Li Shi-Chi, and Chang Liang's strategies effectively help Liu Bang's troops invade the capital the Ch'in Empire. 3. Liu Bang's strategies were implemented successfully. |
