特殊教育計畫之檢討與評鑑

Review and Evaluation of Special Education Programs

在此二週期間，本人能夠訪問甚多的視覺障礙兒童教育計畫，甚感欣悅。盲生混合教育計畫至為堅強。許多受過專業訓練的巡迴輔導員在各縣市普通學校中輔導750位以上的盲生。本人所訪問過的學校校長、主任及教師都很關心此計畫，且能注意個別化教學及解決特殊問題。這種成功，正是各縣市長、教育局長、巡迴輔導員、校長、主任、及教師等的通力合作所致。

It was with special pleasure that so many programs for the visually handicapped were visited during the two-week consultation. The integrated program seems very strong. Many well-trained teachers in all city and county areas are serving over 750 blind students in local schools. Administrators of those schools and regular classroom teachers with whom I visited were strongly motivated, objective and skillful in individualizing instruction and caring for special problems. Such success is obviously the result of true team work, from the Mayor, the Director of each School Bureau, the itinerant teachers, the Principal, Dean and regular classroom teacher of every school involved.
