The West Pacific Rim is the most competitive area around the worldfor the liner market. Every container ocean carrier always concerns the decisions of routes deployment among the hub ports in this area, and the competitive situation would affect the future development of each ports. This article would base above motives and expect to solve the problems of cost-saving for container carriers to comparison among different container hub ports and routes deployment, especially on the ship-type deployment and sensitivity analysis of variability. The average cost-soving (ACS Model) method is employed in this article, it has been applied in literatures to analyze the competitions among hub ports, and shown that is feasible and effective. The result of article points out that container carriers could get cost saving advantage ifthey deployed the trunk routes and hub ports on Busan(Korea) in North-east Asia, Shanghai/Hong Kong(PRC) in East Asia, and Singapore in South-east Asia. |
