In 2014, Fonglin became the first identified Cittaslow town in Taiwan recognized by Cittaslow International. Over the years, Fonglin has faced the problems of emigration, aging and rural economic decline. Before the regional revitalization plan was launched, Fonglin has begun to promote the revitalization of local affairs. This study explores the case of Fonglin in the Digital Opportunity Center (DOC) program of Donghwa University. This study aims to use the Double Diamond model to explore the elements of discover, define, develop, and deliver driven by reginal revitalization. The results show that: humanities-driven economy, value supports the opportunity created, co-design innovation, and win-win returns can be applied in the Double Diamond model to promote reginal revitalization at different stages. |
