The aim of this paper is to address the following questions: Is the experience which we obtain from online games or cyberspace ontologically inferior to that which we obtain from interacting with the physical world? Answering this question requires illumination of the reality and value in relation to digital experience which we acquire from the so-called 'virtual reality.' Some philosophical considerations are provided to support the view of that there is no fundamental difference between the digital and physical worlds in terms of reality and value. |
