The unique principles and values established by the European Union in the past decades have made the development model of European Union a more attractive normative one. Given its influence on the affairs of the world, it has become a popular subject for various scholars. The characteristics of European Union in the international relations are exemplified not merely in civil power and military power, but also by a series of normative standards. The European Union follows normative standards in its action in international politics. The Union beliefs that the way it deals with international problems and the successful multilateral administration has more extensive values to be popularized. This configuration has offered for the world a brand-new normative standard on politics, on ethics, and on the thought. And the so-called new European mode could be more advanced and suitable for the future globalization. |
