近四十年臺灣地區電影學術研究與出版概況

The History of film study in Taiwan, 1949-- 1993: a bibliographic survey

本文採書目計量法，統計及分析近四十年來台灣電影研究活動之各類出版成果，如電影圖書、期刊報紙論文、博碩士論文、各機構研究計劃報告、與學術研討活動記錄等。藉由對上述出版品之分類與量化，本文試圖歸納出台灣電影研究之方向與特質。本文蒐羅電影研究出版資料數千種，除逐類探究分析外，並總合發現過去四十年電影研究甚具教育推廣功能，對提升大眾電影藝術與美學知識貢獻良多；唯因缺乏固定之教學研究機構，使學術之研究活動與刊物出版，或大規模之專題研究計劃均薄弱不振。

To provide an oerview of the history of film study in Taiwan from 1949 to 1993, thousands of research works published during this period were classified and analyzed. The following publications were examined using bibliometric analysis: books, periodicals, newspapers, thesises or dissertations, research project reports, and proceedings. The research indicates that most film writing over the past forty years has focused on the popular criticism and study of individual films and film art. There has been only a small number of published works at the academic level, due primarily to the fact that Taiwan lacks a academic film institution.
