國家太空中心與長庚質子團隊結盟

Alliance between NSPO and Chang Gung Proton Team

林口長庚紀念醫院放射醫學研究所及長庚大學放射醫學研究院於7月23日與本中心簽署合作協議書（MOA），結盟成為台灣發展太空計畫的新合作夥伴。長庚團隊將以高能質子模擬太空環境，在太空中心的技術協助下，執行國內自主開發太空電子元件之抗輻射測試，可望大幅降低我國太空產業界發展與驗證太空元件的時程與成本，有助於台灣電子產業升級，躋身國際太空電子產業供應鏈。

The Institute for Radiological Research of Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Linkou and Chang Gung University signed a cooperative agreement (MOA) with NSPO on July 23, forming an alliance to become a new partner of Taiwan's space program. The Chang Gung team will apply high-energy protons to simulate the space environment and carry out the radiation hardening test for Taiwan's self-developed space electronic components under the technical assistance of NSPO. It is expected to greatly reduce the time and cost for the development of Taiwan's space industry and verification of space-qualified components. In addition, it will help Taiwan's electronics industry to upgrade and join the international supply chain of space electronics industry.
