The Institute for Radiological Research of Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Linkou and Chang Gung University signed a cooperative agreement (MOA) with NSPO on July 23, forming an alliance to become a new partner of Taiwan's space program. The Chang Gung team will apply high-energy protons to simulate the space environment and carry out the radiation hardening test for Taiwan's self-developed space electronic components under the technical assistance of NSPO. It is expected to greatly reduce the time and cost for the development of Taiwan's space industry and verification of space-qualified components. In addition, it will help Taiwan's electronics industry to upgrade and join the international supply chain of space electronics industry. |
