福爾摩沙衛星七號順利發射並成功與台灣通聯

FORMOSAT-7 satellites were launched and communicated with Taiwan successfully

搭載著六枚福爾摩沙衛星七號的美國太空探索公司（SpaceX）獵鷹重型火箭，於臺灣時間6月25日下午14時30分，順利於美國甘迺迪太空中心發射升空。蔡英文總統特地蒞臨國家太空中心的衛星操控中心觀禮。火箭發射後165分鐘，福衛七號與澳洲達爾文海外站首次通聯；發射後379分鐘，與位在中壢及台南的台灣地面站進行首次通聯。

The U.S. Space Exploration Company (SpaceX) Falcon Heavy rocket carrying six FORMOSAT-7 satellites was successfully launched from the Kennedy Space Center in the United States at 14:30 pm on June 25, Taiwan time. President Tsai Ing-Wen specially visited the NSPO Satellite Operations and Control Center to observe the launch ceremony. The first communication between FORMOSAT-7 satellites and the Darwin overseas ground station in Australia was 165 minutes after the launch of the rocket; the first communication between FORMOSAT-7 satellites and the Taiwan ground stations in Zhongli and Tainan was 378 minutes after the launch.
