FORMOSAT-5

福衛武號衛星自2017年8月25日發射升空後，在軌道上完成了衛星本體、遙測酬載與科學酬載的功能檢查，並對遙測酬載失焦問題進行各項改善措施，之後也完成遙測酬載的在軌影像驗證，於2018年9月21日開始對外提供衛星影像營運。

After FORMOSAT-5 has launched successfully on August 25, 2017, FORMOSAT-5 has completed satellite bus, remote sensing instrument and science payload in-orbit check-out. Also, several solutions have been developed to resolve the de-focus issue of remote sensing instrument. After penforming in-orbit image verification, the image sale started on September 21, 2018. By the end of 2019, 31,491 PAN/MS images were generated from the remote sensing instrument and the availability nate for accumulated image was up to 95.43%. FORMOSAT-5 has supported Sentinel Asia for nine cases of disaster monitoring since July 2018. In 2019, FORMOSAT-5 supported six cases, including Nepal Typhoon (20 I 9 March), Korea Forest fire (2019 April, Philippines Earthquake (2019 April, Vietnam Flood (2019 Sep), Thailand Flood (2019 Sep), and Japan Typhoon (2019 Oct).
