福爾摩沙衛星七號台美聯合計畫於2019年1月進行運送前審查，台美雙方組成10人獨立審查團隊進行審查。審查通過後，立即開始裝箱及運送準備作業。4月14日，福衛七號衛星運往桃園國際機場，蔡英文總統親臨主持啟運儀式；4月15日，衛星運抵美國邁阿密國際機場後，隨即送往SpaceX的整測廠房，進行功能檢查、裝填燃料、安裝分離環、電池充電等工作後，6枚衛星安裝到獵鷹重型火箭上。

FORMOSAT-7 / COSMIC-2 joint program successfully completed Pre-Shipment Review (PSR) in January 2019 by an independent review team with 10 experts from U.S. and Taiwan. After PSR. NSPO and USAF worked closely on the packing and shipping schedule to realize the shipment from Taiwan to the U.S. on April 15. Upon satellites' arrival to SpaceX's facility, the satellites were checked again and NSPO/SSTL team worked on fueling, installation of separation rings, battery charging, and then integrated 6 satellites unto Falcon Heavy. The STP-2 mission was launched on June 25; 6 FORMOSAT-7 satellites were parked at 720-km circular orbits successfully. Through one-month health check, the satellites began commissioning on July 24, 2019. The TGRS provisional data was released in December 2019 and the formal release of neutral atmospheric data is expected in February 2020.
