The purpose of this project was to increase completion rate of change-of-shift report up to 90%.
We developed the change-of-shift report improvement project using the team resource management concept.The project included establishing rules on the required contents to be included in a change-of-shift report, standardized procedure for a change-of-shift report, and regulations for evaluation. We also conducted on-the-job trainings and formed a reward and punishment system (named Little Angel Program) to implement our change-of-shift report project.
The completion rate of change-of-shift reports increased from 5.44% to 98.20%.
