The purpose of the study was to analyze the technical application of Huai-Hsuan Huang, the women’s category under 49 kilograms Gold Medalist, in 2016 Asian Taekwondo Olympic Qualification Tournament. The analysis method of the project was the event recording of video observation system, which recorded and analyzed (1) attack pattern: timing and habitual feet (or fists), (2) skill movement and attack figure: attack mode, attack spot and footwork, and (3) technical movement: scoring figure, scores, and loss points. The study used percentage distribution to quantify the collected data and summarized the following results: the attack numbers were 125, 85, 69 and 94 sequentially from preliminary round, rematch, semi-final and final, and the total attack number is 373. The average of attack number is 93.25. The game scores were 3, 3, 4, 3 sequentially, and the total game score is 13. The average of game score is 3.25. The success rates were 1.60%, 1.18%, 1.45%, 2.13% sequentially, and the average of success rate is 1.61%. In conclusion, Huai-Hsuan Huang was good at the standing position of left foot in front of her and right foot in the rear. The heavy foot is left. She has an advantage at close range during the attack or passive attack. She also has a big personal advantage of high success rate of stand attack, because she has well sense of distance and usually gets well timed action of attack. |
