To make Taekwondo game fairer, the scoring criterion changes from purely traditional manual judgment to traditional manual judgment and electronic protector altogether. The training of Taekwondo techniques and tactics also changed in response to adopting electronic protector. This study introduces the Mete-analysis and collects recent Taekwondo records before and after adopting electronic protectors. There are four sections to discuss Taekwondo techniques and tactics: attack pattern, scoring position, attack skill, and tactical strategy. It turns out that the attack pattern does not change after adopting electronic protector but the trend of scoring position is towards upper trunk. Attack skill still focuses on round kick while inclines to downward kick. Tactical strategy is to integrate diversified kicking method and enhance side kick, turning action and upper trunk kick to score with high efficiency, and to reduce score losing by step moving and hand protection. This research aims to provide Taekwondo training reference to all coaches and players. |
