This study employed questionnaire to conduct the meta-evaluation of elementary school principals’ managing performance evaluation in Tainan city. The aim was to understand whether the evaluation system conformed to meta-evaluation standards including utility, feasibility, propriety, accuracy and accountability. Findings were as follows: Propriety standard had the highest average, and followed up by accuracy, utility, evaluation accountability standards. The standards of propriety and accuracy were determined as “agreeable”, and the standards of utility, feasibility and accountability were resulted in “neutral”. Suggestions based on the results were provided to related organizations and researchers for reference. |
