舊文體與新思潮的跨域交匯－易宗夔《新世說》的「現代性」初探

The Cross-Domain Discussion on Jiuwen Style and New Ideology – The Initial Study on the Modernity in Zongkui Yi's "Xin Shishuo"

《新世說》是民初政界人物易宗夔仿效《世說新語》門類所編輯而成的一本「世說體」文學作品，有鑒於本書誕生於中西文化交鋒、保守與前衛相蕩的特殊時代，因此本文特別從四個角度來探析《新世說》所可能隱含的「現代性」訊息，藉以勾抉出有別於過去世說體文學的新時代因素。雖然《新世說》在創作的動機和筆法上充滿傳統文學色彩，但易氏本人的現代性體驗依然巧妙的在此書中留下吉光片羽，古典性的世說體與現代性的新思維，在此書發生了意外的跨域交會，《新世說》之所以為「新」我們可從這個角度獲得另外的意義詮釋。

"Xin Shishuo" is a work that Zongkui Yi, a politician during the Early Republic Era, has penned following the example of "Shishuo Xinyu" and has been compiled into one literature work in Shishuo style. This book was written based on the cultural clash between the East and the West, of which each possesses different characteristics-conservative and avant-garde-respectively. Therefore this manuscript particularly investigated the "Xin Shishuo" based on four perspectives included in the messages that modernity has brought in, as well as to investigate the modern factors in the Shishuo Style. Even though the motivation and the writing style of "Xin Shishuo" were fulfilled with traditional literature, Zongkui Yi provided a modern experience that has left a legacy on this work of literature in a form of classical Shishuo style and contemporary new ideology. There was an unexpected cross-domain discussion in this book, of which has allowed the readers to have a new perspective within the "Xin Shishuo" in order to be able to interpret it in a new way.
