Symptom Assessment and Collaboration Care for Patients with Abdominal Distension

腹脹是病人常見而導因不一的惱人症狀，臨床照護中需要藉由症狀評估以辨別腹脹導因，進而提供緩解症狀之處置。本文透過文獻查證針對腹脹導因、症狀評估及處置進行文獻回顧，並建立「腹脹評估及處置流程」，以提供臨床人員照護腹脹病人的參考，期能改善腹脹問題的照護品質。

Many causes could cause distressed symptom of abdominal distension. To offer appropriate nursing interventions to relieve abdominal distension, nurses should identify its etiology through symptom assessment. We reviewed literature regarding etiology, symptom assessment, and management of abdominal distension. We established an algorithm of assesment and management of abdominal distension. We expect that such information will be a reference for clinicians, and it could improve the quality of care on abdominal distension.
