The negotiations of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement have been completed in October 2015, and it is expected to start signature procedure in early 2016. Facing trends of regional economic and trade integration, Taiwan, highly dependent on foreign trade, could not simply stay out. This paper begins with an overview of the Agreement by analyzing its structure, chapters and contents. Secondly, this article develops a more detailed introduction and advanced comments on the environment chapter of TPP, in order to clarify the long-debating trade and environment interaction in WTO, and tries to figure out if any breakthrough would be shown in TPP? And are there still any limits thereto? Conclusions envisages future development of trade and environment interaction.
