The revised WTO Agreement on Government Procurement entered into force on 6 April 2014. Compare with the 1994 WTO Government Procurement Agreement, the revised one has importance variation, such as simplify the process of government procurement, add e-procurement system, and set up arbitration procedure. Taiwan as a member of the GPA has the obligation to comply with the content of the agreement. In order to improve the government procurement system of Taiwan, a comparative study of the Government Procurement Act in Taiwan and the Revised WTO Agreement on Government Procurement is necessary.
