The case report described the nursing experiences of caring a Southeastern Asian widowed woman with colon cancer. The colon cancer education brochure was translated into her mother language with the aid of Google translation. For her 12-year-old daughter, we introduced the disease by the methods of drawing and playing game. In addition, the social worker was involved to provide social resources. Patient was able to understand the knowledge about the disease and the purpose of the operation. The patient’s daughter was able to learn to take care of her mother, leading to bonding between them.
