This study examines the teaching plan and its implementation, adaptive teaching, and current learning assessment on data collected from teaching and assessment dimension within certain school evaluation systems. The study presents suggestions and outlook for teaching and assessment as follows: Firstly, smooth operations on teaching and academic affairs, normalized teaching practices, and subjects taught accordingly (only the qualified teacher suitable for teaching that subject) should be the fundamental requirements. Secondly, teaching and assessment ought to be planned as a part of the whole school operation systems and then carried out by teachers in classroom teaching. Furthermore, in terms of adaptive learning, school should provide learners of different learning styles with diverse learning opportunities. Next, to manifest one's profession in teaching and assessment, teachers need to constantly reflect and innovate on their teaching skills. In addition, the school authorities should set up the follow-up instruments for improving the system of the sustainable teaching and assessment. Last but not least, teacher's performance evaluation should be incorporated as a part of the complete school evaluation. |
