英文摘要 |
The main purpose of this study was to investigate leadership coaching and construct core competency indicators for leadership coaches. Fuzzy Delphi was used to revise the indicators, and 650 randomly selected elementary and junior high school principals were used as samples to conduct confirmatory factor analysis. Sixty-one indicators and 11 competencies were classified into 4 categories, namely (a) complying with basic rules (e.g., meeting ethical guidelines and professional standards and establishing a coaching agreement [2 competencies, 7 indicators]), (b) creating cooperative relationships (e.g., establishing trust and intimacy with clients and maintaining a strong coaching relationship [2 competencies, 13 indicators]), (c) communicating efficiently (e.g., active listening, powerful questioning, and immediate feedback [3 competencies, 14 indicators]), and (4) facilitating learning and results (e.g., creating awareness, planning and goal setting, designing actions, and managing progress and accountability [4 competencies, 27 indicators]). According to the findings and conclusions, this study provides suggestions for the practical promotion and study of leadership coaching in the future. |
