佐藤春夫的日語論－兼論新舊假名漢字論爭－（Haruo Sato's Theory of Japanese: The new and old kana and kanji controversies）

佐藤春夫の日本語論──新旧仮名漢字論争に関わって

佐藤春夫是日本近代文學家當中，對日語的關心度最高的作家之一。佐藤春夫對日語文的關心，不是始於戰後，是從戰前，而且是從昭和初期就已呈現這樣的態度。佐藤春夫的日本語論，概括日語的表記、文章表現、語彙、文法、語用、文學創作、日語之美等等日語相關的全面性課題。不過，基本上，是日語舊假名以及漢字擁護論。佐藤過世之後，金田一春彥在其著作『新日本語論私の現代語教室』，以佐藤春夫的一篇論文「小說─國語の醇化美化」為攻擊的焦點，展開他的日語相關的論述。本論文試圖將佐藤春夫有關日語論述的文章、發言、評論，做分期且有系統的整理，並闡明其與新舊假名、漢字存廢論爭的關聯。
Haruo Sato is a modern literary writer who had a strong interest in Japanese. His attitude of Japanese attention was not after the war, before the war, it was also from the beginning of the Showa era. Haruo Sato's Japanese theory has been discussed throughout Japanese language issues such as Japanese notation, expression, vocabulary, grammar, words, literature creation, Japanese beauty etc. Basically he was the defender of the old kana and old kanji. Since Sato passed away, Haruhiko Kindaichi raised Haruo Sato 's Japanese theory“Novel - Beautifying the language of the national language'' as a spearball in“New Japanese Theory of My Modern Language Classroom''. I will examine the words, sentences and comments about Japanese, arguments and classify it according to the time period of Haruo Sato.Also, I will investigate how it relates to the new and old kana and kanji controversies.

佐藤春夫は近代の文學者の中で、特に日本語について強い関心を持っていた作家の一人である。その日本語関心の姿勢は戦後になってからのことではなくて、戦前、それも昭和初年からそうであった。その佐藤春夫の日本語論は、日本語の表記、表現、語彙、文法、語用、文學創作、日本語の美など、日本語全般の問題にわたって論じたものであるが、基本的には旧仮名、漢字擁護論であった。佐藤が亡くなってから、金田一春彦は『新日本語論私の現代語教室』で、かつての佐藤春夫の日本語論の一篇、「小說―國語の醇化美化」を槍玉に挙げた。佐藤春夫の言葉、日本語についての文章や発言、議論を調べ、それを時期区分して整理し、また、それがどのように新旧かなと漢字の論争と関わったかを本稿で究明する。
