The interviewee is a student who is studying Japanese at a university in Taiwan. An hour interview was held and was recorded. The transcript of the interview is the data of this study. To analyze the data from the interview, we adopted TAE (Thinking at the edge). Of the 14 steps Tokumaru (2010) presented, the analysis uses step 1 through step 13. The result of the analysis yielded 4 important terms: “conveying rich knowledge effectively'', “keeping rules and paces'', “grasp students' conditions'', and “relation like a family''. These terms obtained the sentences which explain the image of the ideal teacher of the interviewee. |
