The purpose of this study is to find both differences and similarities In the pragmatic realizations of making request(pre-requests) by intermediate level Chinese college students(TL) of Japanese compared native speakers of Japanese(JJ), and Taiwanese Chinese(TT). The data of TL were collected by using roleplay performed by Taiwanese Learns(32), and the data of JJ and TT were colleted by using discourse skrip test(100). We used to analyze in terms of the discourse structure, the expressions, and the ordering of strategies for making request(between friends.) without imposing. The results of the TL data showed cross-cultural pragmatic influences, and indicates: 1)TL using the ''sematic formulas'' quite different from both JJ and TT. And the ''sematic formulas'' using by Requester affect Requester and the flow of the request conversation. |
