村上春樹 「UFO降落在釧路」論－直到 「意識」追上 「身體」

The Discourse on Haruki Murakami's ''UFO in Kushiro'': Until ''Consciousness'' catches up with ''Body''

一九九九年八月發表於「新潮」的短篇小說「UFO降落在釧路」是村上春樹以一九九五年一月十七日所發生的阪神大地震為題材創作的短篇小說集『神的孩子都在跳舞』中的首篇小說。村上春樹親自解釋短篇小說集裡的作品並不打算直接描寫地震或將作品世界設置於災區神戶，而是以「第三人稱」的方式描繪地震後的各種人物模樣。是否毫無疑慮地接納作家的解釋雖有爭議，本論文仍遵照村上春樹的論述，對於村上春樹到底利用「第三人稱」創造了什麼樣的人物做為問題意識切入這篇作品。尤其，這篇是小說集『神的孩子都在跳舞』中的第一篇，格外重要。村上春樹的作品多為「第一人稱」，鮮少為「第三人稱」；因此，小說集裡的這些作品必定有非「第三人稱」則無法呈現的要素在。希望透過精讀這篇作品所解析出的觀點，進而對其他作品的解讀有所幫助。

'UFO in Kushiro'' was placed in the magazine called ''Shincho'' in August, 1999. The work is collected in ''After the Quake'' later. Their motif is the earthquake happened at Kobe on January 17, 1995. Haruki Murakami explained these works. These works do not draw the earthquake directly. In addition, the stage is not Kobe, too. Haruki Murakami tells these works ''to have drawn various types of people after the earthquake''. All works were written by ''the third-person''. This article accepted the explanation of the author obediently and decided to consider this work. Considered it which type of human being Haruki Murakami drew by ''the third-person''. There are few works which Haruki Murakami wrote by ''the third-person''. What will the reason that must be written by ''the third-person''? ''UFO in Kushiro'' did not attract attention very much. I hope that this article will help the study of the collected work '' After the Quake '' in future.
