Tsuji-Hitonari is writer. In1989, his first novel, ''Pianissimo'' won the 13th Subaru Prize for Literature( Subaru Bungaku Sho).In 1997, he was awarded the 116th Akutagawa Prize for ''Kaikyo no hikari (The Light from the Straits). In 1999, he was awarded the Prix Femina Award, a prestigious French Literary Prize, in the foreign novel category, for the French translation of ''Le Boudda Blanc (The White Buddha, Hakubutsu, published by Mercure de France). He is the first Japanese writer to ever win the Prix Femina Award. But, we have few papers about his novels, that is a pity. This time, I deliver a paper on his novel what title is ''Haha naru nagi to chichi naru shike (A calm likes mother and a storm likes father)''.This novel was nominated the 110th Akutagawa Prize. I explain my idea concretely, I noted why Reiji murdered Yamaya. While Yamaya was the guadean for Reiji, he got a lot of benefit from Reiji. One day, Reiji met Sekiji at a coffee shop. Sekiji had a strong resemblance to Reiji. Then, we notice not only their mirror image that Jacques LACAN said by ''Le stade du miroir'' in 1936, or ''La famille'' in 1938, but also their interaction. Sekiji changed Reiji's feeling for Yamaya. At last, Reiji murdered Yamaya. |
