Ye Shi-Tao ”Shun-En” is one of the famous Taiwanese literature during the Japanese colonial period.Up to now, ”Shun-En” is regarded as an autobiography which express Ye Shi-Tao's admiration. It is a fact that Nishikawa Mitsuru was Ye Shi-Tao's boss in those days, and the subtitle of ”Shun-En” as ‘for my mentor’, a character in this work, named ‘Nishimura’, easily put ‘Nishikawa Mitsuru’ in mind of reader, but I did not think that has not leaved the door open to reexamination of the extent of autobiography and admiration for ‘Nishikawa Mitsuru’.The purpose of this paper, reexamine Ye Shi-tao's circumstances and the lirationship of them, compare ”Shun-En” and ‘Nishikawa Mitsuru’ ”Unrin-ki” (1941), analyze the extent of fiction of ”Shun-En”, throw light on the structure of fiction. |
