This paper is extracted the example of ”Multiple, attributive modifier” from the Japanese reading textbooks for high-intermediate students, and considered the word order of so-called ”Multiple, attributive modifier” from those examples. The following conclusions are obtained by such work. 1. The pattern of ”Multiple, attributive modifier” seems various; however, it's limited to realistic uses. 2. The domination relation ”Attributive (instruction)” > ”Verb”> ”Noun” > ”Adjective” exists between parts of speech to which the noun is modified in ”Multiple, attributive modifier”. 3. A double modification is a principle, thought it's called ”Multiple, attributive modifier”. 4. The point ”The tendency to a long modified component puts in front of a short modified is strong” was confirmed again. |
